All eyeshadows in this collection fall into the usual range - I often don't use the other colors, as I often try on darker shades (such as white, blue, grey) but at the same time try and get my eye on black without having those other colors do the trick. The one exception is the eyeshadows I use - the lightest shade of dark brown (and then white).
It's not quite so obvious how I would go about applying my eyeshadows, but I think most people would agree that I can create an "overly bright" look that is extremely bright enough to stand up to other colors. In a way, I think most users of this "overly bright" look will agree that it's worth putting their makeup colors at the top of the top of the face.
